Now, this is my absolute favourite pastry – BRIOCHE!!! So delicate and airy, as delicious served with nutella or marmalade, as it is with savoury toppings. *starts to dream in brioche* ^.^
This is more of a starter or a light lunch. On display below are slices of brioche with a variety of toppings:
- mozzarella, tomato, basil with a balsamic glaze
- smoked salmon, a dollop of cream cheese and tomato
- prawn, anchovy, tomato and broad beans
- beef carpaccio with caper berries
